At the outset of the crimson stream, my eyes beheld a vivid dream;

And I heard the wailing dead – they cry for justice, for their blood was shed.

In the dread and wicked schemes, the earth grew full as it drank these streams;

And when her throat can bare no more, the sky shall open as a door.

A sound shall break, and shatter all, and the very stars will fall,

As Love rides out with fire in His eyes; the live will die, the dead will rise.

When Justice comes and sears the earth, the blood called up: shall find new birth,

The Lamb was first, the Lamb was first.

In this dark injust of night, where every soul is stirred with fright,

Yet Justice lives, and does not sleep, it watches all, and notes its sheep.

And from the ground these voices call; He has heard, and shall not stall.

FAITH, FAITH; believe the Right, or terrors take you in the night;

Heed them not, don’t walk with Cain, he shed blood first and won’t refrain.

Believe the Lamb, as Abel did; for though he died, his soul was hid,

And you shall rise to live as kings, if in your heart His praises sings.

‘And when He had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar he souls of them who had been slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, “How long O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood upon them that dwell on the earth?”

And white robes were given unto every one of them, and they were told to rest for a little season, until their fellowservants, also and their brethren that should be killed as they were should be fulfilled.’ – Revelation 6:9-11
