God, I am thankful for your help and provision. You are able to keep us, and supply our every need no matter the circumstances. Thank you.
I am thankful for the family you have supplied me with; even believers in Christ all over the world with whom I have an invisible bond, as it is said:
‘God setteth the solitary in families, he bringeth out those that are bound with chains…’ (Ps. 68:6)
I am thankful that the things of this world do not bind us, but you have translated me into the kingdom of your beloved Son.
One of the things I am thankful for this year – and I don’t mean this as a plug for my my book, but do love to share he testimony of it – is that when I was laid off at the begining of the COVID shutdowns this year, I was able to use the time to write a new book for God’s glory. The message had begun to burn in my heart, but I had felt hat I woukd have no time to write it. Then I was laid off: no one was hiring, but government stimulous kicked in. Now I had time, I wrote, I exercised and God immensely blessed the time. In the middle of global crisis the Lord opened a little pocket of provision, and help for a work He intended for me to do. I thank God! Trust Him that He may lead you, provide and bless you even in the midst of dark times to come:
‘The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.’ (1 Peter 2:9)
It is another evidence that God will hide us under the shadow of your wings, and is able to make a way no matter the way of the world.
‘And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.’ (1 John 5:19)
Thank you, God for all your works; for every one of them is right and good! Thank you that no matter the way of the world, we can abide with you in the heavenly sphere.
