The book is biblical non-fiction, 410 pages paperback; the content is biblical equipping to discern the antichrist (the antichrist spirit, kingdom and person). I also cover other end-time topics generally; I believe that you’ll find my take is probably quite different than the standard rhetoric heard these days but also fully supported biblically.

In fact, part of my intention in the book was to actually lay out the biblical instruction with regard to the topic rather than to postulate a thesis and then attempt to build a biblical case for it. I believe the best way to study scripture is to read it for what is said, and draw only conclusions which it clearly leads us to.

Isa 8:20
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

While my previous book is not expressly eschatological (end time study) in direction, I believe it has very relevant application for today, that book, More than a Prophet (also available on kindle, or in paperback) is about the ministry of John the Baptist. And is almost a prequel to ‘Discerning the Antichrist.’

In my first book I discussed the first three principal doctrines of Christianity as laid out in Hebrews 6:1 & 2 (repentance from dead works, faith toward God & the doctrine of Baptisms); the New book speaks to the latter three of the principal doctrines (the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and the eternal judgment). While my topic is not specifically those three, each is somewhat addressed in the new book (though not as directly as the first three doctrines were addressed in the first book). As the content was already nearing the 400 page mark, I decided to ratchet back and stick with the topic of the Antichrist, rather than add several more sections to specifically address the latter three principal doctrines of Hebrews 6:1 & 2.

Thanks for stopping by, thanks for all support; the Lord really did open the opportunity for me to write this book as he did with the first one. The message is a revelation that I believe He has been opening up to me mightily; I was laid off from my previous job right about the time that Corona virus concerns were beginning. I have been consistently looking for work, but using the opportunity to write this book. As with the previous book, I had had the message burning and stirring within me for some time, but no opportunity to work on it, but there was a divine supply of provision for me while I wrote ‘More than a Prophet,’ Likewise this situation which is an hardship to so many (and indeed, I am still out of work), yet in it the Lord has paved a way for me to complete this book which I believe is timely and pertinent for the Church today.

I also trust that the Lord will now either open a new employment situation for me, or continue a supply of miraculous provision and give directives on a book to follow. I would be blessed to be able to write full time should the Lord open the opportunity, as I also have ideas for Novels.

At any rate, I am blessed – the Lord provides for the birds of the air, and clothes the grass of the field with flowers, and surely He will abundantly supply all your needs in Christ Jesus.
