The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

As our society plunges into ever deeper debauchery, one might ask what difference it makes whether we let morality slide?

We may feel hypocritical if we seem not to live up to the principles of our own moral standard, but… does that make the moral standard wrong? No.

I quoted Psalm 12:8 above, but the entire chapter speaks to the direction of our global community, and the moral standard… the two verses that precede 8 are these:

6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

7 Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

God’s Word remains the standard of morality; while the generation seeks to belittle His Word, even the basis for its own twisted morality lies within God’s Word: the golden rule, living in love, and kindness toward one’s fellowman.

The standard of God’s morality is not flawed; no, it is like silver purified seven times, wholly perfected and set apart from the morality of the generation.

Every generation of man desires to have its own set of morals, and every generation despise that which came before it. We have come to a day when that which is evil is called good, and that which is good is called evil, outright.

Our generation has applied humanism, rather than God’s word, as the ultimate moral law. Then it has set its sights upon the Word of God and sought to re-interpret it through this lens. So, we elevate man, and man’s passions, lusts and desires to be superior to the perfect law of God, and we call this good.

Man is so arrogant, that he feigns to alter his gender, and would force all others to support this, and live by the lie that they make of their lives. And what is the response of the people of our generation? They call it ‘loving’ to indulge this abominable behavior, and refer to the person as female, when they are made male or female in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Or worse, they declare themselves to have no gender, and would force all those around them that there is such a thing as non-binary, when we all are made male and female IN THE IMAGE OF GOD.

But this is all in accordance with scriptural prophecy: the wicked walk on every side when the vilest men are exalted.

When we exalt wicked people, we will become surrounded by wicked people.

Our generation wants to re-interpret morality, and in so doing they bring confusion upon reality, itself.

If we want to see change, we must laud the Truth, the direction we are going is only perpetual degradation. The Truth is in the Word of God, which is pure, as silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times.

Psalm 12:
1 Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

3 The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
